Smoke Detector/Carbon Monoxide Detector Inspection Procedure

Fire Inspection Certificates are required for the resale of existing homes. The Town inspects all work related to commercial fire alarms. Click here for information on who to contact, necessary forms, and schedule of fees.

Smoke Detector Certificates are issued on-site at the time of the inspection for those properties that are deemed to be in compliance. A re-inspection must be scheduled for any property found to be non-compliant.
